Pinnacle’s Reports: Pinnacle gives you the option of selecting between two report structures and pricing. Both reports follow the ASHI Standards of Practice, but our Preferred Inspection includes additional processes during the inspection that are beyond the ASHI Standards, and gives you more information in the final report (see the chart below). |

Costs and Reports |
|
What are the costs? Do yourself a favor and avoid shopping for the “cheapest” inspector; you may get what you pay for. In the scope of buying a home your safety and the happiness of your family should be worth more than a few extra dollars. On average an inspection costs less than 1/4 of 1 percent of the purchase price. With Pinnacle the average cost of a home inspection is usually between $250 -$500, and is dependent on the total square footage of the dwelling. The cost difference between the Basic and Preferred Report is $75—$100; individual customers need to decide whether that is money well spent. As you compare companies, make sure you talk with the inspector and are familiar with what you’ll be receiving as far as time, and report structure.
